Wiki says: The Classic Nomad is a casting of the 1955 Chevrolet Nomad, one of the top-of-the-line models of Chevy's 1955 Chevrolet line of automobiles.

All original versions were issued with clear windows, a white interior, cap-style wheels, and an unpainted metal base with a USA manufacturing location. The Model were packaged with a metal or plastic Collector's Button.

In 1973 the casting was breifly named "Alive '55", and was issued with Enamel paint. By 1977, a retool permanently shut the hood. The car would, for the most part, vanish after 1977, only to return in 1991. briefly getting the opening hood back in '93 and '94.

The Nomad featured as car #04 of the Highway 35 anniversary event, driven by Lani Tam from the Wave Rippers team. This version is depicted as having been upgraded with four-wheel drive and newer Chevrolet parts; namely, a 409 "big block" from the 60s and the 700R4 transmission from the late 80s.
