There is also an additional car to represent Washington DC. All cars were picked very carefully by Hot Wheels Designers to try to capture that particular state’s essence. This casting is a custom 1956 Ford F-100 truck. It is also known as the '56 Ford F-100. The casting came out in 2007 Ultra Hots Series, with an opening hood. The hood was cast shut in 2009. In 2017 the tool was updated once again: the base is now plastic, the front & rear bumpers are part of the base, the front grille is part of the interior trim, the open bed area is filled with detailed axle & a fuel tank that is part of the interior trim.
