Wiki says: The Subaru Forester is a compact crossover SUV manufactured by Subaru Corporation since 1997. The second generation of the Forester, introduced at the 2002 Chicago Auto Show, was based on the Impreza platform and a number of weight-saving refinements such as an aluminum hood and a hydro-formed subframe. The Forester STi was a performance-oriented model introduced in 2004 for the Japanese market; it featured revised front and rear fascias, a 2.5L EJ255 turbocharged flat-4, a significantly stronger 6-speed manual transmission, larger intercooler, low-back pressure exhaust system and an added rear spoiler. The Forester STi was not sold outside of Japan. 3,645 were produced.
