Wiki says: The Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet is an American supersonic, twin-engine, single-seat, twin-tail multirole fighter aircraft produced initially by McDonnell Douglas Corporation and later Boeing Defense, Space & Security since 1995, alongside its twin-seat variant the F/A-18F. A redesign of the F/A-18 Hornet, the Super Hornet is larger and heavier. The aircraft is currently operated by the United States Navy, the Royal Australian Air Force and the Kuwait Air Force; the Super Hornet is the US Navy's main carrier-capable fighter aircraft, replacing the F-14 Tomcat in that regard.
