Hot Wheels Wiki says: The 2006 BMW M3 is a Hot Wheels casting which debuted in 2021 as an RLC Exclusive. It features an opening hood, underneath is a detailed engine. This casting was initially intended to be released in December 2020, but was delayed to 2021.

Mattel says: Widely feared in the street racing community, the 2006 BMW M3 was born to attack avenues. Our Red Line Club offering is cast like a wolf in, well, wolf’s clothing, with racing livery designed to mimic the intimidating presence of its real-life counterpart. This weekend warrior’s opening hood offers a peek at the brawn of a 3.2-liter, six-cylinder engine augmented by vice-like handling that leaves opponents shaking their heads, and imitators hopeless.
